Check out all the cool things happening online and in-venue throughout the festival weekend!
With Drömsyskon Zine and Ottar and more.Ottar will provide copies of the latest issue “We’re Here” for festival-goers!
Drömsyskon is a Swedish/English zine and collaborative project between Rasmus Eo Clarke, Jon Ely Xiuming and the Swedish trans community. The queer- and trans community has this really beautiful way of being each others support. And maybe not everyone has access to this. So we wanted to create drömsyskon as a community space to uplift each other. To share our stories. To create family. To direct our narrative! Stories about trans people by trans people.
An art installation by Indigo Booz (he/him)
Indigo Booz is a Swedish/American artist currently studying for a bachelors of fine arts Konstfack. Indigo’s art displayed at Trans Fest focuses on depicting a variety of images including ones of his own body as a tool for processing concepts such as anonymity, displacement, and dysphoria. Mind-Body Problem is a collection of multidisciplinary pieces that seeks to challenge the conventions of painting and self portraiture.
